On Friday, we left for Noah's first long-distance road trip to Atlanta, GA, to visit my mom and brother, Jacob. I was nervous on how Noah would do in the car all day long, but he did great! We only had one minor meltdown at the end of the day Friday but I certainly don't blame him. I was about to meltdown too! Ha!
We stayed overnight Friday in Birmingham, AL and then drove the rest of the way Saturday morning. My mom was just moving into her new house so we were able to be her first guests.
On Saturday night, Grandma kept Noah while Adam and I went to see my brother in Atlanta Ballet's production of the Nutrcracker. My brother has been dancing since he was 8 years old and has been a part of the Atlanta Ballet for at least the past 5 years. His girlfriend, Rachel, also dances with them. The show was SO great! It had been almost 8 years since I've seen it and I loved it!
Sunday night we had Christmas with my mom, Jacob, and Rachel. It was so much fun!

We left for home on Monday morning. Our plan was to stop for the night in Shreveport, LA, but we made such good time that we kept going to Longview, TX and stayed the night at Adam's aunt's house. It had been awhile since we had seen Aunt Pat and Uncle Bob, so it was nice that we were able to visit with them. Adam's cousin Jill and her family came by Monday night once we arrived. Their little girl, Lauren, loved Noah! It was the sweetest thing to watch! She would hug him and he would give hugs and kisses back!

We made it back home on Tuesday morning. While it was so nice to visit with family, it was great to be back home!
