11 Months

Noah, you are 11 months old today! Just one more month until your big birthday! We're so excited! Mommy has already started party planning and we're looking forward to your big day. Here's what you've been up to this past month:

• You weigh just over 23 lbs
• You now have 4 teeth
• You are wearing mostly 12 month clothing.
• You are sleeping 10-12 hours a night, with 2 naps each day.
• You are crawling, very fast, all over the place. You are also cruising very well along all of the furniture and anything else you can pull yourself up onto.
• You can say ma-ma. da-da, and ba-ba, along with all of the other babbling you do. You've been saying "cah" lately whenever you see one of the cats.
• You love to clap your hands and grab other people's hands and clap for them. It's so cute!
• You are waving hello and good-bye and wave to yourself when you look in the mirror.
• You can give hugs (sometimes) on command. It melts my heart when you give me hugs!
• You are eating more table foods. You've had pancakes, strawberries, bananas, cereal bars (which you LOVE), chicken, and even some cupcake!
• You are learning to use your sippy cup.
• You love to be outside and enjoy rides in your wagon.
• Your favorite toys right now are your mega-blocks legos and your cars/trucks. You've learned to push the around the living room.
• You also like to play with Lola's toys and play tug-o-war with her sometimes. Ha!
• You also enjoy reading books. You have started to turn pages all by yourself!
• You still love bath time and we cannot keep you still in the tub! You also enjoy brushing your teeth!
• Lately, you've been sticking out your tongue and making funny noises. It's so fun to see and makes me laugh every time.
• You can also click your tongue and sometimes roll it!
• You love to be around other kids and babies. You are so intrigued by them!

Noah loves riding in his wagon. Lately, he has decided to get a little more comfortable and kick his feet up. He rides like this the entire time. Ha!

Sweet Potato Pancakes

First of all, I want to wish a very Happy Mother's Day to all the mama's in my family! I had a wonderful first Mother's Day with my sweet Noah and hubby. Hubby made my favorite, sweet potato pancakes, for breakfast and we decided to see if Noah would like them as well.

He looks very serious, but he loved the pancakes! It's so exciting to start feeding him some table foods now.

10 Months

You are 10 months old, Noah! I'm actually posting this a day late because you had a BIG day yesterday! You had your Dedication at church and you did so well! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you.  We had many family members there to celebrate with us.

Here are some of your 10 month highlights:

• You weigh 22 lbs 15.8 oz (we had to take you to the doctor today because you've had a cold for the past couple of weeks). 
• You are wearing mostly 9 month clothing but also some 12 month clothing
• You've started eating some of the Stage 3 baby food with larger chunks of carrots, etc. You really like them!
• You are still crawling and cruising along all of the furniture. You get brave every now and then and will let go for just a few seconds.
• You are sleeping well through the night! 
• You are starting to wave on command to say bye-bye.
• You love animals! Mommy took you down to San Antonio to visit family and you loved playing with the new cats and dogs you saw.
• You are a chatterbox! You are constantly babbling and saying more of da-da, ba-ba and wa-wa.
• You are now taking big boy baths! You finally grew out of your baby tub and we tried the bath ring, but you hated it! We tried just sitting you in the tub by yourself but you weren't too thrilled at first. It only took a couple of days for you to get used to it and start splashing and playing!
• You are obsessed with shoelaces and flip flops. 
• Your hair is starting to grow more. It's getting fuller in the back. Looks like you will have strawberry blond hair like Mommy!

You are growing so fast and in just a couple of months you will be one year old! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!

Not Quite Wordless Wednesday

We have been spending a lot of time at the park over the past couple of weeks since it's been so nice outside. Noah loves the swings! I think he could stay in them all day if we let him.

We finally installed a gate at the bottom of the stairs since Noah has figured out how to climb the entire staircase!

Here are a few more pictures from this past weekend. Noah is such a happy baby and so much fun!

Noah has also learned to crawl under the chairs to the dining room table. He's usually chasing a cat under there.

Early Riser

Normally, Noah wakes up in the morning between 7:30am and 8:00am. However, for the past few days, he has decided to wake up at 6:45am and not go back to sleep. But, this morning, little guy was up bright-eyed at 6am! We let him play in his crib for about 20 minutes but he wanted out after that.

This is Noah by 8:15am after eating his breakfast.

I think it's going to be a long day! Ha!

9 Months

Noah, today you are nine months old! You amaze me every day. We love you so much! Here is what you are up to:

• You weigh 21 lbs 13 oz and are 29 inches long (both 75%). Big Boy! 
• You are now wearing all 9 month clothing but some of your pj's are 12 months.
• You are crawling EVERYWHERE (including the stairs!) and are also pulling up on EVERYTHING and cruising along the furniture!
• You are just starting to stand by yourself for a few seconds.
• You are eating like a champ. Your favorites are still sweet potatoes, apples and bananas but you are also staring to really enjoy squash and peas more. You say "mmmm" after each bite - so funny!
• You love Puffs! When we shake the bottle, you light up and get so excited. It's pretty cute!
• You are starting to sleep through the night more. You are still waking sometimes just once but we just change you and put you back to bed.
• You still have just your bottom two teeth, but I think one on top is just about to burst through.
• Now that you are crawling, you are really terrorizing the cats. When you see one laying on the floor, you scream and then take off after them. It has to be one of the funniest things I have ever seen!
• You love to go for rides in your wagon. We're so happy it's starting to warm up more so we can go out every day!
• You are also enjoying going for rides in the car now. It's fun to listen to you talk to yourself. You also enjoy riding in the shopping cart like a big boy! 
• You like to watch Daddy when he works in his shop. Maybe you'll be a little glassblower one day!
• You love the Elmo Slide! You smile so big when we play it for you!

I know I say this often, but I cannot believe you will be one year old in just a few months! Where has the time gone?!?
