One Month

Noah, you are one month old today! Daddy and I cannot believe how fast this past month has gone by. You have grown so much already and we can't wait to see how much more you will grow in the coming months. Right now, you

• would much rather be held than sitting or laying down.
• do not like getting dressed or getting your diaper changed (most of the time).
• are beginning to enjoy bath time a little more, especially when we run your head under the water to rinse. That's usually the only part of bath time when you aren't fussing. ha!
• are eating really well. I think you must be going through a growth spurt because sometimes it seems you want to eat every hour!
• are sleeping at night much better, too! Mommy has finally gained enough emotional strength to let you sleep in your crib in your room instead of in the pack-n-play in Mommy and Daddy's room. You usually only wake up once in the night and then again around 6 or 7 in the morning. You also take about 2 or 3 good naps a day.
• are beginning to make more sounds like cooing. You love to have "conversations" with Mommy. 
• are also beginning to make more facial expressions. We're still waiting for that first "real" smile and know that Mommy will just melt when you do!
