Fancy Pants and Foot Grabbing

When Noah was first born, he received a few packages of those new "denim" diapers from some of his grandparents. They only make them in sizes 3 and 4 and I am happy to announce, he is (already!) in a size 3 diaper. I had to take this picture of his new "jeans"!!

Noah has also been grabbing his feet more and more the past few days and I think it's so cute. It also makes changing his diaper VERY difficult! Ha!

4 Months

Noah, you are four months old! I'm posting this a little late because we had to wait until today to visit the doctor. Another month has gone by so fast - I continue to be amazed at how much you grow and learn every day! Here's what you've been up to:

• You weigh 16 lbs, 15.4oz (88%) and are 25 1/4 inches long (55%). We call you our "little linebacker"!
• You are wearing 3-6 month and some 6 month+ clothes.
• You have slept through the night once (just this past week) but you are becoming a better sleeper. You usually will sleep for about 5-6 hours a night before you wake up to eat. A few weeks ago you were waking up every 2 hours for about 4 nights. I think you were going through another growth spurt.
• You smile and laugh all the time now. It makes Mommy smile every time!
• You are experimenting making more sounds. You love to scream, which usually scares Mommy thinking something is wrong, but when I look over, you're just smiling away!
• You have found your fingers and toes! You love sucking on your thumb (or your whole fist!) and holding your feet.
• You love to spend time in your new exersaucer. We're so glad you got this for you! It really helps you stand and hold your head up and you have so much fun playing with all the toys on it.
• We've been given the okay to start you on rice cereal and gradually move to baby foods. You've tried the cereal, but don't seem to be too fond of it.
• You love going on walks in the neighborhood. I'm so happy we've been able to do this  more with the great weather we've been having.
• I think you are beginning to teethe, because you are constantly drooling and chewing on anything you can get your hands on. We'll see what next month has in store!

Today we visited the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch again, only this time, Daddy and Lola were able to come!

My mom came to visit over the weekend and we visited the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. We will definitely have to visit again with Daddy!

Razzzzz-berries!

It's been awhile since my last post. We haven't had too much going on except that my Grandpa and Grandma Anderson came to visit Noah a couple of weeks ago. They live in Wisconsin Dells, WI. I didn't take too many pictures while they were here but here is a cute one of Noah falling asleep in Grandma's arms. She just loved holding him (giving me a break!) and Noah loved being held!

Noah has been blowing razzberries a lot lately. Here is some video I took of him yesterday. He gets a little crazy with the head bobbing towards the end. And you can just ignore my mommy commentary. Ha!

And finally, the weather has begun to cool down here! Hallelujah! Noah has been able to wear pants and booties and I must say, he looks pretty darn cute!

3 Months

Noah, you are 3 months old today! I cannot believe how fast the last three months have gone by! You are growing and learning more each day. This month:

  
• you won't visit the doctor until next month, so we're not exactly sure how much you weigh or how tall you are, but I'm guessing you're a good 15lbs now! You definitely give Mommy a workout going up and down the stairs every day!
• have pretty much grown out of all of your 0-3 months clothes and are only wearing 3-6 months.
• you still hate getting dressed! You would much rather just be in your diaper!
• you are loving bath time more and more. You constantly kick and splash your legs and wave your arms in the water. (I have video that I'll post soon)
• your sleeping habits haven't changed much. You'll usually sleep about 5 hours once you go to bed and then wake up once or twice more (a couple hours in between) each night. Your naps, however, have changed. Somehow, your body has been programmed to sleep for 45 minutes EXACTLY each nap. Mommy knows exactly what time you will wake up every time she puts you down for a nap.
• you smile all the time and are starting to giggle. It's the sweetest sound!
• you are still rolling over to your left side only, but today, you got about halfway on your right side and just couldn't quite make it all the way over.
• you are also holding your head up for longer periods of time and love to have Mommy or Daddy stand you up so you can look us in the eye and smile!
• you love to suck on your hands and fingers now. It makes the funniest noise. You also suck on your lips. I'm still trying to get a good picture of this because you make the cutest face while doing so!
