Dallas Zoo

We visited the Dallas Zoo after church on Sunday. The weather was gorgeous - too good NOT to be outside!

It's Noah's first Valentine's Day and he wouldn't smile for the camera at all today! 

You can't tell by this picture, but I swear, he was in a really good mood today!

Not Quite Wordless Wednesday

It's been awhile since my last post, mostly because there's not too much going on these days. Last week, we had a pretty big (for us) snow/ice storm and were trapped in the house for 4 days before the ice melted on the roads. Today we are trapped once again inside because of snow and ice. Luckily, it's not nearly as bad as last week was!

So, since we can't go out, we've been playing a lot inside and staying in our pj's!

Fun at the Park

The weather this past weekend was great so we decided to take Noah to a local park near our house. On Saturday, Daddy was working, so it was just me and Noah (and about 1,000 other kids) that went. The playground was so crowded, so we just hung out in the grass, played with some toys and watched all the big kids play.

On Sunday, we all went together after church. It was a little chilly but we still had fun! Noah had a good time swinging and going down the slide!

What a Beautiful Day!

It was so nice outside today, we decided to go on a walk in our new wagon! It's the first time we've seen the sun in days!

I made sure Noah had plenty of toys to play with, but you can see what the "toy" of choice has been today. Ha!

7 Months

You are 7 months old today, Noah! Here is what you are up to this month:

• You won't go back to the doctor until your 9-month well exam, but you weigh about 20 lbs.
• You are growing out of most of your 6 month clothing and are starting to wear more of your 9 month clothing.
• You eat so well now! You eat everything we have fed you but you LOVE bananas, apples, and sweet potatoes. You also enjoy eating chicken and turkey baby foods.
• You now can hold your own bottles. When it's time to eat, you grab the bottle out of our hands and hold it on your own. Sometimes, you hold it with one hand!
• You roll over easily from your back to your belly and belly to back and will roll all over the floor when we put you down. You also like to scoot around on your belly in circles.
• You started sitting up on your own pretty much the day after you turned 6 months. You love to sit on the floor and play with your toys.
• You still love to babble and talk. You will say "mama-mama-mama" and have started saying "ba-ba".
• Just a few days ago, you finally cut your first tooth! It's coming in on the bottom and I can see another starting to come through on the bottom.
• You are starting to sleep really great! You can sleep for a period of 8 hours at a time and then will usually sleep for a couple more hours after your morning bottle.
• You really enjoy going out with Mommy to run errands or just go for a ride in the car. You will look out the window and talk to yourself. It's really cute to listen to!
• You also enjoy going to Sunday school at church and playing with the other babies.

I can't believe we are only a few months away from your 1st birthday! I know it will be here before we know it!
