Today we went to church for the first time since Noah was born. I know - we waited WAY too long. I was nervous about him staying in the daycare. Not because I didn't think they would take good care of him but because I was just nervous about leaving him without me. Well, he did GREAT! When we went to pick him up, he looked like he was having so much fun. They had him in a bouncy seat shaped like a car. It was similar to our exersaucer at home that he loves! I think I was the only one that cried this morning. Ha!
After church, we had planned on going to the Children's Aquarium at Fair Park. It's not quite open for business yet, but they are having a sneak peak now. There were still some empty tanks. The grand opening will be in December. This was Noah at the aquarium -
He slept the entire time there and on the way home. He must have had a really good time in daycare! Adam and I had a good time. Here are some pics from the Aquarium and Fair Park.
Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. -Psalm 37:4

Show Us Your Life - Nurseries & Children's Rooms
This week, Kelly's Korner is doing Show Us Your Life - Nurseries and Children's Rooms. I haven't participated in the other rooms mainly because I try to keep this blog about Noah. Now you can see his room! His room isn't too big. It used to be our office/anything room.
Hope you enjoyed the tour! Have a fabulous Friday and a great weekend!
This is the view from his door. I had a canvas made of the picture we used for his announcement and hung it over his crib.
Another view from the door. I just bought some chocolate brown blackout curtains for the window.
His bedding is pretty basic. We bought a blue minky dot bumper that I just love!
His dresser/changing table. The changing pad is also blue minky dot! I painted the letters of his name before he was born, hoping he would come out looking like a Noah since we hadn't 100% decided on a name yet!
Here is Noah's closet. I try to keep it organized. I have his clothes separated by size using some cute dividers I ordered online.
These are the shelves hanging above the glider. This one has a frame that says "Love at First Sight" and has his very first sonogram picture in it.
The other shelf has a bank just like one that I had when I was little. It says "Please Feed Animals Regularly". Ha! The two bunnies are Boo Boo Bunnies that my Godmother had made for Noah.
This bunny was a gift for Noah as well. I think it's SO cute!
This name plate is inside the toy chest my Grandma and Grandpa Anderson brought for Noah. I love that he'll always have this keepsake!
Here is the toy chest. It holds most of his stuffed animals right now and some other toys.

Fancy Pants and Foot Grabbing
When Noah was first born, he received a few packages of those new "denim" diapers from some of his grandparents. They only make them in sizes 3 and 4 and I am happy to announce, he is (already!) in a size 3 diaper. I had to take this picture of his new "jeans"!!
Noah has also been grabbing his feet more and more the past few days and I think it's so cute. It also makes changing his diaper VERY difficult! Ha!

4 Months
Noah, you are four months old! I'm posting this a little late because we had to wait until today to visit the doctor. Another month has gone by so fast - I continue to be amazed at how much you grow and learn every day! Here's what you've been up to:
- You weigh 16 lbs, 15.4oz (88%) and are 25 1/4 inches long (55%). We call you our "little linebacker"!
- You are wearing 3-6 month and some 6 month+ clothes.
- You have slept through the night once (just this past week) but you are becoming a better sleeper. You usually will sleep for about 5-6 hours a night before you wake up to eat. A few weeks ago you were waking up every 2 hours for about 4 nights. I think you were going through another growth spurt.
- You smile and laugh all the time now. It makes Mommy smile every time!
- You are experimenting making more sounds. You love to scream, which usually scares Mommy thinking something is wrong, but when I look over, you're just smiling away!
- You have found your fingers and toes! You love sucking on your thumb (or your whole fist!) and holding your feet.
- You love to spend time in your new exersaucer. We're so glad you got this for you! It really helps you stand and hold your head up and you have so much fun playing with all the toys on it.
- We've been given the okay to start you on rice cereal and gradually move to baby foods. You've tried the cereal, but don't seem to be too fond of it.
- You love going on walks in the neighborhood. I'm so happy we've been able to do this more with the great weather we've been having.
- I think you are beginning to teethe, because you are constantly drooling and chewing on anything you can get your hands on. We'll see what next month has in store!

Razzzzz-berries!
It's been awhile since my last post. We haven't had too much going on except that my Grandpa and Grandma Anderson came to visit Noah a couple of weeks ago. They live in Wisconsin Dells, WI. I didn't take too many pictures while they were here but here is a cute one of Noah falling asleep in Grandma's arms. She just loved holding him (giving me a break!) and Noah loved being held!
Noah has been blowing razzberries a lot lately. Here is some video I took of him yesterday. He gets a little crazy with the head bobbing towards the end. And you can just ignore my mommy commentary. Ha!
And finally, the weather has begun to cool down here! Hallelujah! Noah has been able to wear pants and booties and I must say, he looks pretty darn cute!
